Help tips needed!!!!!

My garden bear is coming along pretty good but I'm not sure how well he will hold up outside.......the first picture is what he looks like right now. He is covered with apoxy clay..which should pretty much make him waterproof.  If anyone has any suggestions on what type of clay I should use for the finishing details feel free to tell me? ...I'm not sure but before I paint it... if no one has a good suggestion...I will probably use paperclay or jonni clay for the detailing of the eyes, and nose.
Thank you for stopping by :)

New Halloween PaperClay kittys

Hello Everyone! I hope everyone is doing well.  I 've been so busy trying to finish up all of these paperclay characters that I started ...at least some of the Halloween ones. The  three kittys  above are wall plaques that I came up with. The one below is one of the shakers that I made... Can you believe I started all of these last year? I had no incentive whatsoever to work on anything... but house cleaning! I recently joined a spoolie swap over at http://garagesalegal.blogspot.com/....I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

and this below is my little pumpkin boy .....is he not the sweetest ?

I only have eyes for you :) Teacup couple

Hello everyone...I've been so busy that I haven't been able to keep up with all of my bloggy friends...please forgive me... Here is the remake of the teacup and...doesn't the little girl look like she saying I only have eyes for you? I am still an amature on making clothes this small but I am happy that they are dressed!

I made the cowboy hat out of felt, and I also added the sweet yellow bow to the little girl.

Some of you may remember that I did make a teacup but I wasn't to happy with it so this is what I came up with after doing a google on making paper teacups. I basically added flower petal shapes to the one I already made...then I painted it red and added dots! I also gave my little girl some cotton candy that I made out of paper and cotton with a little glitter to sweeten it up. I hope everyone had a lovely, fun  weekend.

There's a new cat in town :)

I know this is way too early for this but...I had to make this while it was still fresh in my head! He is going to be one of my characters in my Halloween line. He is handmade by me out of paperclay. I made his tail with a pipecleaner the broom is made out of brown easter grass and a small stick. I then made him a hat out of felt trimmed with cardstock. He was finished off with glitter. He has a little companion in the making :)

Color my world with Paperclay Love!!!

The story goes like ..........

Well it started out like this....... We were nothing much....just a simple ball of clay...

and then we became these little guys.....

as you can see we sure did need some color!

a splash of this color and a splash of that color ............before we knew it we were  able to open our eyes to a bright new world :)
Then we were sprinkled with magic sprinkle dust and we really came to life :)
Thank you Elizabeth, Meri and all of my friend bloggers for the inspiration to create :)

Spring is in the air!

Here we have my little paper clay bluebird in the making :)  I've taken a liking to working with the  paper clay!!! Thank you again...Elizabeth and Meri :) Below is a copycat pipecleaner bluebird that Elizabeth shared with us all. You can find her tutorial on her blog @ Creative Breathing and I also got the idea of the nut cup from Elizabeth she inspired everything that I am making right now. I was just visiting her blog and she has a wonderful tutorial for everyone! Also below is my paper clay duckie but she still isn't finished. I still have work to do on her bonnet and feet, also I only had time to pencil in her eyes. I am planning to try to do sculpture of my dolls that I drew on paper years ago when my girls were young. I've always dreamed to market them :)
