Paper Flower Easter eggs :)

These eggs are so pretty and easy to make .....all we did was punch out flowers... tipped the flowers with glitter and then we glued them on. Didn't they turn out lovely :)  Michele and I also gave one of these pretty eggs to each of our swap partners. The lamb is one of our paperclay creations.
Below in the second picture is of what Michele sent Susan Clayton .....Susan was out of town so she posted late so I just thought I'd share that link again. Have a Blessed Easter Everyone!

Quick tutorial of how to make an Easter Basket !

First I had fun and finished all of the icecream , yummy :) ....Then rinse and dry it really good. I looked in my supply and found some paper with a nice texture to it...perfect! Icut to size and glued it.

When it was dry I painted it and then added trimmings and a handle that I made out of the textured paper

Then I added a sweet image to it and ta-da...it's done!

***Holly and Susan your pkgs are on there way!
Don't forget to look at the post before this one it is one on what my swap partner Holly from http://cottonpickinfun.blogspot.com/ sent me!

Spring is in the air!

Here we have my little paper clay bluebird in the making :)  I've taken a liking to working with the  paper clay!!! Thank you again...Elizabeth and Meri :) Below is a copycat pipecleaner bluebird that Elizabeth shared with us all. You can find her tutorial on her blog @ Creative Breathing and I also got the idea of the nut cup from Elizabeth she inspired everything that I am making right now. I was just visiting her blog and she has a wonderful tutorial for everyone! Also below is my paper clay duckie but she still isn't finished. I still have work to do on her bonnet and feet, also I only had time to pencil in her eyes. I am planning to try to do sculpture of my dolls that I drew on paper years ago when my girls were young. I've always dreamed to market them :)

Easter!

I know it isn't April, but when I was searching google I came across  the cutest pattern for a peep bunting and can you believe it was free! I had to make one for myself ! Click this link for the pattern Bunny Bunting

So here it is.... almost complete... I added a few touches of my own. Click on individual pictures to get a close up..
A little sugar. Sparkles do the trick.

I am still adding the accessories such as butterlies, flowers, pinwheels. I hope you all like it but don't forget to give the credit to the link above. Questions are welcome.

Eggs Inspired By Cath Kidston's Designs

We love Cath Kidston's designs!!  How we wish she had a store here in the US still.  We only found out about her a couple months back and fell in love with all her style!!  Her prints are so bright, cheery, and refreshing.  Since we haven't had much luck finding her stuff on Ebay or Amazon, we decided we would have to come up with something!  We had this ceramic bunny with eggs for a while and finally got around to painting it.  We took turns painting and had a lot of fun deciding what designs we would paint.  We are pretty happy about the way that it turned out!  But we are no match for Cath Kidston...

Click on the pictures for a better look!  : )
