Quick tutorial of how to make an Easter Basket !

First I had fun and finished all of the icecream , yummy :) ....Then rinse and dry it really good. I looked in my supply and found some paper with a nice texture to it...perfect! Icut to size and glued it.

When it was dry I painted it and then added trimmings and a handle that I made out of the textured paper

Then I added a sweet image to it and ta-da...it's done!

***Holly and Susan your pkgs are on there way!
Don't forget to look at the post before this one it is one on what my swap partner Holly from http://cottonpickinfun.blogspot.com/ sent me!

Hey Laura, What a wonderful tutorial! I love this idea, so creative. Now I am going to be looking at every container that I come in contact with as a potential basket :) Love the sweet little lamb image. Just adorable. I am so glad that you liked your box of Easter goodies and spoolie. I had so much fun reading your blog and trying to figure out what you might like. And I also had a lot fun shopping for you. It was a joy to be paired with you and to have a new blogland friend! Have a wonderful night, Holly

Oh so cute! What a wonderful way to recycle. I've been recycling tuna cans and the cardboard rounds from the packing tape when we moved. It's gratifying to make something out of what we would normally throw away. Your icecream container is a sweet shape for a basket, for sure!
